I was formerly an elder of the Local Church. Because I held on to my arrogant and erroneous views and because I was deceived by the rumors, I developed a great hatred for the Almighty God and collected materials to attack the work of God many times. However, God did not remember my monstrous sins, but spared me with his great patience and love and led me onto the right path of human life.

I hear a voice familiar calling me now and then. Awakened and look to see, who is there speaking. His voice is soft but stern, His image beautiful! Suffer smite and endure great pain, caressed by His loving hand. Then I realize it’s the Almighty with whom I fought. Hate myself, with great regret, think of what I did. Deeply corrupted, no humanity, now I see the truth. With a new start, pursue a real life, fulfill my duty. For status, compete with God, I am ignoble. God is still God, man is just man—I am so ignorant. Too foolish and too proud to know my true self. I was shameless and embarrassed; my heart fills with regret. I hate myself, unaware of for what I should live. Devil trampled me so many years, contemptible I became. Poisoned by the evil one, humanity is lost. If not changed and not reborn, I have no true life.

Corrupt disposition bothers me, my service still in vain. Ignorant of God, full of notions; how could I not resist? God judges me, for my rebellion, unrighteousness. I have seen the true love of chastisement and judgment. God is righteous, I’m convinced fully. I’m face to face with Him. God’s practical salvation helps me to walk this far. God’s realness and almightiness, fully revealed to man. Living in light, I know God and have seen His loveliness. How I Accepted Almighty God

My name is Li Xiushuang, and I was formerly a preaching co-worker of the Three-Self sect. Whenever I recall the days of my resisting and rejecting Almighty God’s work of the last days, my regret cannot find vent in words. It was God’s chastisement and discipline that saved me, so that I received the great salvation and saw God’s real and true love for me.

It Is Almighty God Who Saved Me

I believe that every brother and sister in the Lord is expecting the Lord’s coming and is expecting the Lord to take us to heaven and into the glorious and beautiful home soon. Like you all, I also expected that all along. I remember that as early as March 1999, I had heard that there were a group of people of “the Eastern Lightning” preaching that the Lord had already returned, yet our leader said that that band of people were wrong and were cultists and antichrists…. He did not allow us to contact them lest we be deceived. So I, as an instructor of the Praise Church, actively cooperated with the leader and spread his words wherever I went. Moreover, I kept myself on full alert, always afraid that the brothers and sisters would be deceived by them.

The Mystery of Godliness (4) - Only God Incarnate Can Do the Work of Judgment in the Last Days

    The Eastern Lightning testifies that God has incarnated in the last days to do the work of judgment Himself. And yet God's work in the Age of Law was done by using Moses. So can't God's work of judgment in the last days be done in the same way, by using people? Why does God need to incarnate and do it Himself? Almighty God says, "The work of judgment is God's own work, so it must naturally be done by God Himself; it cannot be done by man in His stead. Because judgment is the conquering of man through the truth, it is unquestionable that God still appears as the incarnate image to do this work among men" (The Word Appears in the Flesh).

Storyline:

    Lin Bo'en was an elder at a house church in China. During all his years as a believer, he felt honored to suffer for the Lord, and valued the knowledge and attainment of the Lord Jesus Christ above anything else in the world. One fateful day, he went out to preach and heard some shocking news: The Lord Jesus has returned in the flesh, and He is Christ of the last days—Almighty God! Lin Bo'en was puzzled. When the Lord returns, He is supposed to descend with the clouds, so why would He incarnate Himself and do His work in secret? What mysteries were hidden behind God's incarnation?
