XVII Questions and Answers About Why the True Way Is Persecuted

Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God,books
Question 4: Under the rule of the CCP government, people can be arrested, persecuted, and even executed for accepting the true way! I don’t understand, why is the CCP so afraid of the work of Almighty God?
Answer: The CCP government is now going all over the country to fully suppress the Church of Almighty God, furiously hunting Christ and capturing and persecuting God’s chosen people. To believe in the true God and perform our duties in China indeed carries great dangers, but people in religious circles and unbelievers don’t understand: Why do we still believe in Almighty God when the government is persecuting and condemning us like this? It’s because Almighty God is the true God, the reappearance of the Redeemer.

News Conference on a Case Study of Religious Freedom Violations in China-Eastern Light

On December 14, 2017, a news conference with the theme of Religious Freedom Violations in China—A Case Study of Persecution Against Christian Minorities was jointly held by the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR) and the Center for Studies on Freedom of Religion, Belief and Conscience (LIREC) in the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome. The meeting focused on the appeal being made on the issues of rejected refugee applications and impending repatriation of a majority of The Church of Almighty God's Christians that had fled to Europe. It is also the first time that a news conference on the persecution of The Church of Almighty God was held in the Roman Chamber of Deputies. Members of the Senate, Chamber of Deputies and an internationally renowned research expert on new religions, Professor Massimo Introvigne, made speeches separately, calling on all European countries to approve the refugee applications of these Christians in accordance with the international conventions on refugees.

The Bible’s Author is Not God, But Men!

Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God,Jesus
Tonight, I, when studying the Bible on the Internet, heard an astonishing news: The Bible’s author is not God, but men! Having believed in the Lord for so many years, I’ve read the Bible often and listened to famous pastors preach in various places often. But it was the first time I heard this argument, “The author of the Bible author is man, not God.” I remembered that pastors preached, “Though the Bible had more than 40 authors in different times, what they wrote has no mistake. This shows that God is the true author of the Bible. The Bible is from the Holy Spirit.” I am perplexed. So what is the truth of the matter?

Willy Fautré: EU Members Should Stop Repatriating Asylum-Seekers From The Church of Almighty God

Willy Fautré: And it is time to deconstruct the negative impact and effect of the fake news of China, to reveal the reality, in order to be able to convince the authorities of the countries where they (members of The Church of Almighty God) are looking for a safe haven: that they should be accepted as politically persecuted Christians and that they should be granted a safe haven in all the countries where they apply for asylum. And, that's what we are now in the process of. So, we’re convincing not only public opinions, but also political decision makers, and others that those people are peaceful, they don't represent any threat to the state security or to human security in any country where they are. They've not committed any act of violence. But, if they are sent back to China, they will be victims of acts of such violence. So, that's the process that we're now engaging in.

Why Did the Lord Jesus Praise the Canaanite Woman’s Faith?

Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God, jesus
It is recorded in the Bible, “And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, you son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and sought him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith: be it to you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour” (Mat 15:22-28). Whenever reading these verses, I cannot help thinking: During the period of the Lord’s work, lots of people believed in Him and followed Him, and countless people gained His grace. However, people, approved and praised by the Lord like the Canaanite Woman, were rare enough to be counted on the fingers of one hand. What confused me most was why the Lord said her faith was great. Is it just because she reasonably admitted she was a dog before the Lord? With the confusion, I repeatedly ponder…

Willy Fautré: South Korea Should Give Refugee Status to Asylum Seekers of The Church of Almighty God

Willy Fautré: South Korea is a democratic country, like all the members of the European Union, like the United States and many others. So, they should abide by international law. They have signed and ratified a number of international standards. And, they should not send back those 150 people of The Church of Almighty God to China. I think they want to be blind and to be deaf, not to see and not to hear anything that is written and spread around about the situation of The Church of Almighty God. We’ve already sent a message to the South Korean authorities, saying, “Please don’t send them back to China, or you’ll send them to jail, or maybe death.”

The Chinese Communist Party Uses “Cult” as a Pretext to Persecute Religious Beliefs | What’s a Cult?- Eastern Light—Christian Videos

Since the Chinese Communist Party took power, it has been frantically suppressing religious beliefs. The Chinese Communist Party's religious policy and China's human rights conditions have been roundly denounced by democratic countries and international human rights organizations. China's definition of "cult" and its use of cult as a pretext to attack religious beliefs have particularly drawn serious doubts and criticisms of the international community. The guests in this episode are Professor Massimo Introvigne, founder and director of the Center for Studies on New Religions in Italy and Professor Holly Folk from the University of Western Washington of the United States. They have an in-depth discussion and exchange of views on the CCP's definition of "cult" and on the issue of the CCP's condemnation of The Church of Almighty God under the pretext of cult. So, how do the professors look at the CCP's use of cult as a pretext to suppress and persecute religious beliefs? Please have a look!
